I try the Allow button in System Preferences, Security Privacy, General tab, but that does not cure the problem.
Could Not Load Paragon Ntfs Preference Pane. Free Agent GoGlexThe external hard drive that I wish to use is a Seagate Free Agent GoGlex 500 GB drive, but the problem that I describe above occurs without even attaching the drive to the USB port. Then when I did System Preferences, Security Privacy and clicked on the Allow button, a window appeared showing what was being blocked from loading.
Could Not Load Paragon Ntfs Preference Pane. Mac 15 WasNTFS for Mac 15 was listed and I clicked on the option to let it load. I then restarted normally and could mount my Seagate Free Agent GoFlex 500 GB external disk drive. I had reverted to version 15.0.23 of NTFS for Mac 15, since I can use that without being in trial mode (my Seagate drive came with the option to use the Paragon driver I found that version by going to the Seagate site first). Dear greengreengreen, Please check to browse your huge folder. Dear Mr. Zarniwoop, Thank you for our great feedback. Become a MacRumors Supporter for 25year with no ads, private forums, and more. Nothing went wrong in the copyingreadingdeletingmountingdismounting (except once, see below) that I can attribute to Paragon. It worked great. The only problem I had happened once and I couldnt reproduce it. Once in MacOS when it did that to a Paragon volume, I opened it to get it going again, but instead of the real contents there were a couple of plist files and a NIB file (thats all I remember). I couldnt unmount the volume in the Finder, and ended up having to use umount -f. That still didnt get rid of the Finder volume icon, only dragging to the Trash did that (and it went in the Trash, it didnt eject). Re-plugging the drive brought everything back, and like I said, I couldnt reproduce it. I installed the first Beta, but how do I uninstall it I cant find my original dmg file for beta1, that I suspect contained an uninstall application, so now Im completly lost on how to do this. Kevin. Get the Beta 2 dmg. Mount and open it. Right click on the Uninstall package, choose Show Package Contents. Go into ContentsResources and copy the uninstall.sh to the Desktop. You want to make the following changes in uninstall.sh: 1) Line 5, change the product to NTFS for Mac OS X Beta. Delete the if-then-fi block at lines 113-119. Save that, then execute it in Terminal with: sudo Desktopuninstall.sh (entering your usual administration password) It might work. EDIT: Looking over the Beta 2 installation scripts, it looks important to uninstall Beta 1 before installing Beta 2 so that the default Mac OS NTFS handling is restored. Hi, Im a bit of a mac newbie and Im hoping someone can help me out. Suddently the folders had names like Ressource 1 (i dont remember exactly) and so on, and there was an index.html. Strange. After a reboot it was back to normal. Prev with Beta2 my drive would show up as a UNIX Executable File sometimes. Beta3 works great. Also I get read speeds of 14 MBps compared to 2 MBps from my FAT32 Partition. NTFS partitions with Windows installed now appear in the Startup disk preference pane and other bugs were fixed. Dear GuidoN, The problem with deleting a huge folder should be fixed. Please check it. Dear fotism; Please check, the issues your have reported should be fixed in the Beta 3. Dear greengreengreen, Please check to browse your huge folder. Dear Mr. Zarniwoop, Thank you for our great feedback.
